Who We Are

Morning sunlight streams through the rare Monterey Cypress trees at Point Lobos

This website was produced by locals. Not activists. We have no formal organization. Nothing to gain but improved safety at Point Lobos.

We live here. Some of us live just down the street from the Reserve. Some of us volunteer there. Some simply enjoy the beauty and bio-diversity of Point Lobos. All of us love this special place and want to prevent a tragedy here.

Don Blohowiak created this website as a passion project from a deep concern for the safety of everyone who parks on the highway at Point Lobos. He contributed many of the visuals on this site along with Chris Gordon and Greg Psihas. Lisa Lapin and Jeri Passalaqua lent their reviewing eyes to the content.

Our only goal: Keep safe everyone who visits Point Lobos State Natural Reserve.

We urge you to join our cause by taking action. Ask politicians and public officials to act now to keep visitors to Point Lobos safe.

We invite you to stay up to date on the progress of this safety campaign.

Drop us a note if you would like to add your name to the roster of people standing up for a safe Point Lobos. And please share your experience visiting the Reserve.
